Hylenex (also known as hyaluronidase), is used to dissolve hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. This enzyme offers a safe and effective solution for correcting overfilled or improperly placed fillers. The process is relatively quick, with effects often noticeable within hours to days as the filler starts to break down. With lip filler removal treatment, patients may experience temporary swelling, redness, or bruising following injection.

Hylenex may be needed to adjust uneven distribution of filler, excess product, or undesirable outcomes. It may also be used to smooth out lumps, bumps, or asymmetries that may occur.

I can’t believe I’m saying that I enjoy getting needles in my face, but it’s true! It’s been almost a year since I started getting injections at Blur and I LOVE it.
